Author Deals Readers in for a Tale of Murder and Revenge

SANTA FE, N.M.-An unknown man hunkers down in the high desert, hunted by a stranger. So begins a new novel by Larry Seeley, the Sangre de Cristo Mountains providing the backdrop for a story of murder and revenge in the world of big-time gambling. So it's appropriate that Cities of Gold and Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino, with the Sangres as their backdrop, will host six book signings of Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves May 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, and 11.

The book, just released this month, is a suspenseful thriller populated by an interesting cast of characters. Working in the real-life, high-stakes arena of business and gaming has provided author Larry Seeley with a special understanding of this world.

The Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves adventure begins with the ricochet from a rifle bullet cutting protagonist Jack's cheek. Jack needs $43 million to finish building a couple of casinos. Seeley's page-turner is a trail of murder that stretches from the wilds of Canada, through the steaming gambling palaces of Las Vegas, to the blood-soaked Sangre de Cristo Mountains of Santa Fe.

Jack can run, but can he hide?  And can he stop a pair of psychopaths who have sworn an oath of revenge on him for their fallen leader?  Love, betrayal, desperate characters, and a grab-you-by-the-throat story draw the reader to the inevitable bloody conclusion.

"We are proud to host Larry Seeley for his first book signings of Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves," says Gene Stachowski, Executive Director of Marketing, Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino. "He has been gaming with us for three years at both Cities of Gold and Buffalo Thunder. Larry has won two cars, a Ford F-150 and a 1958 Pontiac Chieftain. As one of our regular guests it seems like a perfect fit to host him at two Pueblo of Pojoaque properties for the launching of his exciting new novel."
