NEW VENUES OFFER SMOKING HOT ENTERTAINMENT

SANTA FE, N.M. —Tequila Rain will take the stage Friday, February 27 and Saturday, February 28, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. in Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino’s Turquoise Trail Bar & Grill, located in the casino.

Tequila Rain is a New Mexico based band that has been performing and entertaining audiences throughout New Mexico, Colorado and Arizona for over a decade. Known mostly for their Spanish language recordings, Tequila Rain performs music that appeals to a variety of fans in all age groups. Tequila Rain's music encompasses many styles including: New-Mex and Tejano Spanish, Cumbias, New and Classic Country, Classic Rock, Old School and Oldies.

“When you want to rock, roll, eat and drink, Turquoise Trail Bar & Grill is the place,” says David Oakeley, Executive Director of Marketing, Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino, “The beer is always cold and the entertainment is smoking hot.” Turquoise Trail Bar & Grill is open Wednesdays and Thursdays, 7 to 11 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. The music in the Turquoise Trail ranges from funk, Tejano, zydeco and the swing of Felix y Los Gatos to great rock of Missing Stateside, performing April 24 and 25. Missing Stateside performs favorite rock covers, and has opened for or played with Skid Row, Quiet Riot, Joan Jett and Foghat, to name just a few.

The Blue Tower Lounge hosts DJ BREAKAWAY every Thursday night, 8 p.m. to 12 a.m., playing the best Hip Hop, Reggae and Club music around. Blue Tower Lounge is a 100-seat entertainment venue located on the casino level. The Blue Tower Lounge is a sleek and sensual venue with upscale services including bottle service and VIP packages. Every square inch of Blue Tower Lounge is designed to electrify the night.

“The entertainment in both the Blue Tower Lounge and Turquoise Trail Bar & Grille has been a big draw for Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino since we opened six months ago,” says E. Midnight Sun will be playing in the Blue Lounge March 6, 7, 13 and 14 and the Pleasure Pilots will delight the audience March 20 with their original rhythm ‘n’ blues songs and their T-Bone Walker, BB King and Fats Domino covers. The country band Unwound will perform April 10 and 11.
